Saw this last night and decided to get some to try for brekky today, it claims to be MSG and preservative free, which is a huge plus for me.
Preparation time is only about 10minutes.
Basically all i did was place the unopened packet in a boiling wok of water, cover it up and retrieve it 10 minutes later.
Taste is good, similar to what you can get from a peranakan restaurant, if not better.
Doesn’t cause any thirst after eating either.
I’m happy with it.😊
Another backdated food post.😍
In clockwise order:
- Ah Yuan fragrant herbal chicken
- Bamboo herbal prawn soup (My favorite out of all the dishes, would it be strange to say that it tastes comforting?☺️)
- Lor mee
- Braised beancurd with chinese cabbage soup
- Stir fried chilli live clams
Came across these weird looking gourds in the supermarket the other day. They were labeled as kiwanos. A kind of cucumber/melon hybrid. Also known as horned melons.
Found this post buried deep in the depths of my drafts section.
From a couple years ago.
A lovely place if I recall correctly. 🙂
I can now understand why people queue for hours just to get their hands on this american cheesecake/ tart hybrid.
It truly is a delight to bite into one. 😅🌈
A restaurant that lets you wait and wait + wait some more. 😌
