This was supposed to be an avocado miso salmon poke bowl. Couldn’t really detect the taste of avocado in the miso sauce and had a hard time digging for the slivers of salmon hidden somewhere in there. Completely disappointed with this. 😦
Lunchtime takeout, decided to try the seared salmon sashimi with spicy cod roe mentaiko with yuzu-ume brown rice.
It tasted pretty heavenly, i ate everything with the wasabi you see in the rice and another two packets of wasabi that was provided on the side. A nice and light meal.
They have high quality miso soup as well, with large chunks of salmon, shrooms, carrots and daikon.😊
Saw this last night and decided to get some to try for brekky today, it claims to be MSG and preservative free, which is a huge plus for me.
Preparation time is only about 10minutes.
Basically all i did was place the unopened packet in a boiling wok of water, cover it up and retrieve it 10 minutes later.
Taste is good, similar to what you can get from a peranakan restaurant, if not better.
Doesn’t cause any thirst after eating either.
I’m happy with it.😊
