Another chirashi post.

First time i tried the famed otoro, which is tuna belly. Its has a texture similar to beef marbled with fat.. and yes, it does taste heavenly.

The serving is extremely small and pricy, but each piece of sashimi was lightly seared and still retained their original texture and is paired with their own individual sauce and ingredients.

Every single bite was flavorful, tender, and juicy. Each type of seafood was unique in flavor, i really can’t describe how beautiful everything tasted. It was like having a medley of complimenting flavors dancing on my tastebuds, and that was mind blowing.

Even the short grained rice was very well done. The texture was firm to the bite but still soft and fluffy. Paradoxical description, i know.😅

A poke theory 

Very Meh.

This was supposed to be an avocado miso salmon poke bowl. Couldn’t really detect the taste of avocado in the miso sauce and had a hard time digging for the slivers of salmon hidden somewhere in there. Completely disappointed with this. 😦

Salmon Samurai

Lunchtime takeout, decided to try the seared salmon sashimi with spicy cod roe mentaiko with yuzu-ume brown rice. 

It tasted pretty heavenly, i ate everything with the wasabi you see in the rice and another two packets of wasabi that was provided on the side. A nice and light meal. 

They have high quality miso soup as well, with large chunks of salmon, shrooms, carrots and daikon.😊

DIY Mouth Wash for fresher breath!

Having fresh breath is important and nobody likes to be assailed with foul dragon breath whilst having a face to face conversation.
I’ve found that mouthwash plays an important part to kill off bacteria hiding between the teeth in our mouths. Been testing this DIY mouth rinse for a couple months now. 
Works well in terms of getting rid of funky mouth odors after eating say, food containing garlic or onions.
Its also good to know that its made up of all natural ingredients and free of chemicals and toxins.:)
Ingredients:

A jar or bottle

1 cup distilled water 

4 tsp baking soda

4 drops tea tree essential oil 

4 drops peppermint essential oil

Directions:

Mix the above ingredients together in jar and store it aside.

Take a half a mouthful when needed, after meals and such.

Gargle for a minute.

Rinse with water.

Say hello to fresh breath!
